It was an ok experience but it really just felt like a $130 normal hair wash. I would like to give a few ideas. Invest in better products for curly hair (moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner), implement scalp oils into the treatment (before shampoo) and perform a real relaxing scalp massage, don’t just rub the scalp for a few seconds, maybe implement Acupuncture pressure points into the massage for more relaxation. Hand and shoulder massage was also not good, maybe spend at least 10min on the shoulder massage and ask client what pressure they would like. Hand massage was just a stone being rubbed in my hand for less than a minute. Invest in a better hair brush for curly hair that can truly detangle the hair from the roots to ends. I would love to give the business another chance as I love spas but was disappointed with my first experience. Genesis was super friendly and took great care of me, I just think the process could be better. Also, 40 min wait time with an appointment is not great.

My husband and i got the couples special head spa. It was just the perfect way to celebrate his birthday and feel relaxed. Both Yesica and Geneis are both amazing. Highly recommend.
Michelle was amazing. She made the atmosphere relaxing and I relaxed so much that I may have fallen asleep. This was my first time at a head spa and I will definitely be back.
Liz was great. This was my first time and Liz explained the process and made me feel very comfortable. The only negative is the cost, not something I could do on a regular basis.
Very clean and professional with extensive services. Just wish I didnt have to share a room with someone else. They were ahead of me so we heard what each was having done which at times didnt allow for complete quietness or solitude.
